This installation and setup guide will walk you through the step by step process of installing and configuring your WordPress plugin, ensuring a smooth and hassle free experience.

Pre-Requirements

Before installing and using DialBunny, ensure that your server meets the following requirements:

  • PHP Version: The minimum required PHP version for this plugin is 8.1.
  • MySQL Version: The minimum required MySQL version is 5.6.
  • MySQL User Permission: CREATE TABLE permission is required.
  • cURL: The PHP cURL extension must be installed and enabled.
  • Domain: It is strongly recommended that you host this application on a server with a custom domain using HTTPS, otherwise you may run into some technical difficulties with receiving phone calls.

Downloading and Activate the Plugin

Follow these steps to download and activate the DialBunny plugin:

Option 1: Install via WordPress Admin (Recommended)

  1. Log in to your WordPress Admin Dashboard.
    Navigate to Plugins → Add New.
  2. Search for the plugin.
    In the search bar, type the name of the plugin (e.g., "DialBunny") or you can find the plugin at wordpress.org/plugins/dialbunny
  3. Install and Activate.
    Click Install Now, then click Activate once the installation is complete.

Option 2: Download from WordPress.org

  1. Go to the WordPress Plugin Directory.
    Visit https://wordpress.org/plugins/dialbunny/ and download the plugin.
  2. Download the plugin ZIP file.
    Click the plugin name, then click the Download button on the plugin page.
  3. Upload it to your WordPress site.
    In your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, select the ZIP file, then click Install Now and Activate.

Installing The Plugin Manually

If you’ve manually downloaded the plugin, follow this guide to upload it to your WordPress site. Once you're logged into your dashboard, the steps below will walk you through the installation process.

Go to your WordPress dashboard, navigate to the "Plugins" section on the left-hand menu and select "Add New." This action opens up the vast world of plugins ready to enhance your site, but what you'll want to do is click on "Upload Plugin" to manually add the DialBunny plugin.

After hitting the "Choose File" button, locate the DialBunny plugin ZIP file on your device, select it, and click "Install Now."
