Obtain A Phone Number Easy Method
This guide walks you through how to quickly and easily obtain a phone number with just a few simple steps.
Requirements
Before starting this guide ensure that you have an active Twilio account and already have the DialBunny plugin installed on your WordPress site.
Plugin Already Installed: You will also need to have already installed and activated the DialBunny plugin onto your WordPress site. It is also recommended that your WordPress site has a proper domain and is secured with https.
Twilio Setup Complete: In order to follow this guide you will need to first complete the Twilio Setup to ensure all Twilio API keys are properly configured.
Funded Twilio Account: In order to follow this guide your Twilio account will need to be topped up with some funds as Twilio charges small fees on each phone number in use.
Getting A Phone Number
Follow the instructions below to get a phone number. Keep in mind that some phone numbers have local regulatory requirements in some countries. This means that you may have to provide a local address and a bundle of regulatory information such as your business name, website, and identification when requesting a phone number through the DialBunny plugin.
1. Head Over To The DialBunny Dashboard Page
Navigate to your WordPress admin panel and locate the 'DialBunny' plugin in the sidebar menu. Click on the 'DialBunny' page, which will take you directly to the DialBunny dashboard.

2. Search For A Number
Once you're in the DialBunny dashboard, head over to the "Find A Number" page where you can search for phone numbers. Simply click on "Get Number" on the phone number you like best and that's it, the phone number will be added to your dashboard. Twilio does have monthly charges associated to each phone number which vary from country to country. Keep in mind that phone numbers from some countries may require regulatory infomration such as a local address or business information.

3. Add An Emergency Address (Optional)
It's recommended to add an ermergency address to the phone number you just obtained in case an emergency phone call occurs. An emergency call refers to dialing a service like 911 to request immediate assistance from emergency responders. To do this head over to your Twilio account dashboard, click "Active numbers" then click on the number you just obtained and scroll down to where it says 'Emergency Calling'.
