Obtain A Number (Easy Method)
In order to follow this guide you will need to first complete the Twilio Setup to ensure all Twilio API keys are properly configured.
Limitations
Using this easy guide, you can only obtain a phone number from the following supported countries listed below:
- Canada
- United States
Phone numbers from the above countries offer almost zero regulation which means you can make and receive phone calls with very little setup. If you want to use a phone number from a country that is not listed above, refer to the 'Manually Get Number' guide which shows you how to add any phone number that Twilio supports.
Get A Number
The first step is to head over to the DialBunny dashboard page, navigate to your WordPress admin panel and locate the 'DialBunny' plugin in the sidebar menu. Click on the 'DialBunny' page, which will take you directly to the DialBunny dashboard.
Once you're in the DialBunny dashboard, head over to the 'Find A Number' page where you can search for numbers. Simply click on 'Get Number' on the phone number you like best and that's it, the phone number will be added to your dashboard. Remember you will only be able to search for Canadian And United States based phone numbers in this easy method guide.
Recommended
It's recommended to add an ermergency address to the phone number you just obtained in case an emergency phone call occurs. To do this head over to your Twilio dashboard, click 'Active numbers' then click on the number you just obtained and scroll down to where it says 'Emergency Calling'.
